How To Make Shahi Paneer without onion and garlic. first of all chop paneer into pieces , no need to fry or saute in paneer in oil or ghee. now heat ghee or oil in a pan and add cumin seeds and the whole spices in the oil. when spices start to crackle then add the grated bottle gourd and saute for a minute. now cover the pan with a lid and let the gourd soften a bit. The original shahi paneer is from Mughalai cuisine. It has a white gravy made from onion and yogurt. Full of nuts saffron and aromatic spices.

Steps to make Shahi Paneer:
  1. Slice onions and take a kadai and add 1tbsp butter and add whole spices saute then add onions.
  2. Saute onions then add tomatoes n cook till tomatoes are soft. Add water and cook for few minutes then transfer to a bowl to let the mixture cool.
  3. Grind it to a paste and sieve it to get a creamy textured mixture.
  4. Add 1tbsp butter add bay leaves and shajeera n saute then add the mixture to it. Boil for few minutes. Ready paneer cubes.
  5. Add paneer and crushed homemade kasuri methi and add to kadai. Mix well and boil. Add cream to the kadai n cook.
  6. Then transfer to a serving bowl. Decorate with cream.
