- Take 1 Onion

- Take to taste Salt
- Get 1 Inch Cinnamon stick
- Get 3-4 Cloves
How To Make Shahi Paneer without onion and garlic. first of all chop paneer into pieces , no need to fry or saute in paneer in oil or ghee. now heat ghee or oil in a pan and add cumin seeds and the whole spices in the oil. when spices start to crackle then add the grated bottle gourd and saute for a minute. now cover the pan with a lid and let the gourd soften a bit. The shahi and creamy paneer dish is Mughlai cuisine. To make shahi paneer we need tomatoes, Onions, Cashew Nuts, butter and some Indian spices, and of course cream. The dish is very creamy and less spicy.
Instructions to make Shahi Paneer:
- Heat a kadhai add little ghee. Add one bay leaf, black Cardamom, cinnamon, cloves and cashews and fry it for few seconds. Add ginger, onion and tomato. Add little salt and mix well. Add one cup of water cover the kadhai and cook it for 3-4 minutes on medium flame. Turn off the flame and let it cool down.
- Put it in blending jar and blend it properly. Strain it. Paste is ready……
- Turn on the flame and heat a kadhai add ghee. Add cumin seeds, turmeric powder, red chilli powder stir it well. Add the blended paste stir it well. Add coriander powder and black pepper powder. Cover it and let it come to boil. Add half cup of water, cover it and boil it for 2-3 minutes. Add garam masala powder and mix it well. Add paneer and salt. Cover it and cook it for 10 minutes on low flame. Add Kasuri Methi.
- Then add fresh cream mix it and cook it for a minute on low flame. Turn off the flame. Add butter and mix well.
- Shahi Paneer is ready to serve. Serve hot with Chapati, Puri or Paratha…..
