The ingredients needed to make Shahi Paneer:
  1. Get 250 gm paneer,white oil 3tsp,butter 1tsp and 1cube,ginger 1inch
  2. Take Green chilli 8 pcs, cumin powder 1tsp,sugar, salt, kashew 50gm
  3. Prepare Watermelon seeds 1tsp,poppyseed 2tsp,kashmiri red chilli powder
  4. Prepare Capsicum,garam masala powder1tsp,kasuri methi 1tsp,cardamom 2pcs
  5. Take Cinnamon half inch,dry red chilli 1pc,black pepper 8pcs,
  6. Take Bay leaves 1pc,milk 1cup

It has a white gravy made from onion and yogurt. Full of nuts saffron and aromatic spices. The shahi and creamy paneer dish is Mughlai cuisine. To make shahi paneer we need tomatoes, Onions, Cashew Nuts, butter and some Indian spices, and of course cream.

Instructions to make Shahi Paneer:
  1. Cut the paneer into cubes and Capsicum into cube shaped pieces.
  2. Make a paste of cashew-poppyseed-watermelon seeds,ginger,green chilli.
  3. Take a kadai and heat 2tsp white oil and add the paneer cubes.
  4. Fry the paneer cubes till it becomes golden brown.
  5. Add 1 tsp white oil and 1tsp butter in the kadai. Add dry chilli,bay leaves,cardamom, cinnamon, black pepper, bay leaves.
  6. Add the cashew paste and fry it in medium flame.
  7. Add sugar, salt and kashmiri red chilli powder, cumin powder and mix it well.
  8. Add the Capsicum cubes in it. Cook it 5 mins.
  9. Add paneer in it. Add the milk in it and cook it 10 mins in a medium flame.
  10. Add garam masala powder, kasuri methi and butter in it.
  11. Now it is ready to serve.

The dish is very creamy and less spicy. It is the main course and usually served with wheat roti or naan. Soft, creamy Mughlai Restaurant-Style Shahi Paneer is a true celebration of rich flavours and treasured spices. Scoop this vegetarian curry up with hot paratha, naan or roti.
