- Turn off the gas and let the kheer cool down to room temperature. Garnish it with nuts
- To make it more special cover the kheer with a net or channi and keep it on the terrace under the full moon especially on sharad Purnima so that the moon rays fall on the kheer. Keep it overnight under the moon light but make sure to keep it on height do that cats or other animals should not spoil it.
- Tip : The kheer tastes best when consumed without heating.
