Add saffron to this chicken korma, or zafran murgh korma, to give it a lovely colour and make it very special. Steps to make Fruit korma:
- Step 1:- Blanch tomatoes in boiling water for 5 minutes and remove it's skin. Blend in mixer grinder and make puree.
- Step 2:- Boil chopped onion, cashew nuts, magastali seeds, green chilli and garlic cloves in enough water for 5-7 minutes. Blend in mixer grinder and make paste.
- Step 3:- in a pan heat oil and ghee. Add cubed paneer and fry until little golden brown. Transfer paneer into plate.
- In a same pan add cumin seeds.
- Add bay leaves, cloves, cinnamon pieces, green cardamom and big cardamom. Cook for a while.
- Add onion paste (step 2) and saute on low flame till oil seperates.
- Add tomato puree (step 1) and saute well.
- Add red chilli powder, kitchen king masala powder, sugar and salt. Mix well.
- Add approximate 1 cup water.
- Add chopped fresh fruits like pineapple, apple, grapes and pomegranate seeds. Mix well.
- Add chopped carrot, chopped capsicum and fried paneer.
- Add kasoori methi and malai.
- Cover with lid and simmer for 7-8 minutes on low flame.
- Adjust consistency and switch off the flame.
- Delicious fruit korma is ready to serve. Enjoy with steamed rice or paratha.
