  1. Cook the spinach for at least 2 whistles and Drain and keep aside to cool.
  2. Till then cut the paneer into cubes and shallow fry them.
  3. Take two onions and chop them small for the tadka.
  4. In a tbsp of oil saute the onions till translucent and then add the paste of ginger garlic and tomatoes. Saute till the oil separates.
  5. Add dhania powder, a pinch of haldi powder, jeera powder and salt. - - The tadka is ready.keep it aside.
  6. Simultaneously on the other gas take tsp of oil upon heating, add a tsp of carom seeds, let them splutter add the mashed spinach into it and saute till the oil separates and the colour changes a bit.
  7. Now add the tadka into the palak add some water for the proper consistency. Let it boil for 2-3 mins and now add the paneer cubes. Keep it on low flame for a minute or two.
  8. Finish it off by sprinkling some garam masala. - - And the palak paneer is ready to serve. Enjoy with hot chapatis.
