  2. Take 2 Capsicum

  16. Prepare 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste

Potatoes, tomatoes, green peas all mashed together with spices and lemon and paired with buttery. Pav bhaji is a fast food dish from India consisting of a thick vegetable curry served with a soft bread roll. Steps to make Pav Bhaji:
  1. Boil all vegetables in 1 glass of water an mash them a make thick paste. Heat pan add oil and butter add 2/3 rd of finely chopped onion saute till it turn pink, add ginger garlic paste, add chopped tomatoes/puree, mix well an cook for 3 mints, add all spices (turmeric, chilli powder, coriander powder, pav bhaji masala powder, salt) add little water an mix well, now on slow flame cook nicely and in-between keep adding the water in which we added half pav bhaji masala, let it cook on slow flame.
  2. For 10 to 15 mints. Once done garnish with fresh coriander leaves and chopped onions and green chilli and butter. Serve with Pav toasted in butter.

Variants of the dish may use other bread varieties such as chapati, roti or brown bread.. Pav Bhaji is a medley of mashed vegetables simmered in onion tomato gravy, special pav bhaji masala powder and lots of butter.
