Vegetable Biryani is a complete, satisfying, one-dish meal. My mother would often say this dish is a fancy name for vegetable pulao. However, I think it is more than that. The secret behind this flavorful Vegetable Biryani is a spice mixture that creates the perfect balance of flavors.

Steps to make Instant biryani:
  1. Firstly, in a large kadai heat 1 tbsp oil and saute 1 bay leaf, 1 inch cinnamon, 1 star, 1/4 tsp jeera till turns aromatic.
  2. Further add 1 onion and saute well.also add ½ tsp ginger garlic paste and continue to saute.
  3. Now add  carrot, potato, peas, gobhi and 3 beans.
  4. Furthermore add soya keema curd, chilli powder, biryani masala and  salt.
  5. Saute well making sure the spices and curd are cooked well. and also oil releases from sides.
  6. Further add 2 cups of cooked basmati rice and mix gently.
  7. Mix well making sure the rice grain doesn’t break.
  8. Finally, instant veg biryani is ready to serve along with onion salad and raita.
