Main Ingredients : Chickpeas (kabuli chana) (काबुली चना), Basmati rice (बासमती चावल) Chole Biryani, a quick one pot flavorful and protein rich meal usually served with Raita. Instructions to make Chhole biryani:
  1. Wash and soak white chick pea aprox 6 to 7 hours. And cooked. soak half and hour long grain basmati rice.
  2. Heat the oil in medium flame. Add all spices, (cardamom, cinnamon, bay leaf etc) Add ginger garlic paste and saute, after 20 second add onion (paste or fine chopped) after few minutes add the tomatoes and mix well and stirring.
  3. After add green chillies paste, turmeric powder, red chilly Kashmiri powder, cumin-coriander powder and mix well and stirring occasionally. After few minutes add cooked chickpeas and potato dice and stirring well.
  4. After few minutes add 2 cup water, salt and biryani masala after simmering add socked rice. and cook the low to medium heat for 10 minutes.
  5. Garnished with fresh coriander leaves and ready to serve.
