  3. Chop the veggies- pumpkin, potatoes and parwals into cubes. Wash them thoroughly. Then put it in pan.
  4. Add salt and turmeric powder (1/2 tsp) in the pan.
  5. Then add the roasted black chickpeas. Cover with a lid and cook for few minutes.
  6. Now add the spices- 1 tsp Cumin powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder and salt and sugar to taste and mix everything.
  7. Add water as much needed and cook for few minutes more in low flame. Then take out on a plate and serve.

At this stage add the peeled and cubed pumpkin / butternut squash, ginger paste, red chilli powder and turmeric powder. Cook till the pumpkin start to soften, and add the boiled black chickpeas / garbanzo beans.
