  1. Take 1 tbsp Ghee
  2. Prepare 1 finely diced white onion

  4. Take Half tsp dried coriander

  7. Take Pinch turmeric for colour
  8. Take 1 Green chilli
  9. Take 1 tbsp raw cane or palm sugar

Add more chilli or cayenne for more heat. Transfer the chicken to a plate using a slotted spoon or spatula and return the pan to the heat. Heat the oil in a large saucepan or frying pan. Once hot, fry the onion, cloves and cardamom pods for a few minutes until the onion begins to soften.

  1. 1tbsp ghee or coconut oil in pot. Add diced onion keep on low flame
  2. After 2min add chopped sweet potato. Keep heat low
  3. After 5min add ginger garlic. Then add chicken and turn flame high to sear chicken cubes. Add remaining spices and stir
  4. Add enough coconut milk to cook chicken and a pinch of turmeric for colour. Turn flame to medium-low
  5. Simmer until sweet potatoes are cooked. Add sugar to taste
