  7. Get 1 tbsp saunf (fennel seeds)roasted

  10. Make ready 2 tbsp melon seeds roasted
  11. Get 2 tbsp roasted Almond flakes
  12. Take to taste salt

Traditional way of making it is very lengthy process which require some patience. My mom usually make this traditional way. Traditionally both chunda and murabba are made by keeping the mango-sugar mixture in a glass jar in sunlight. The intense sunlight of the hot Indian summers cooks this mixture.

Instructions to make Vegan Amla Chundo:
  1. Wash the amla properly, towel dry and grate.
  2. Pour grated Amla in a bowl add turmeric powder and salt mix well, add sugar and micro at high power for10- mins. check in Between and stir the spoon to check whether sugar is melted completely. Remove and after 10- mins and add cumin powder, asafoetida, cardamom powder red chilli powder,roasted cumin and saunf. Mix well and again micro for 3- mins.
  3. Add roasted almonds flakes and melon seeds mix well and micro for 2-min,
  4. Remove cool it completely and then store in a glass bottle. Healthy Vegan Amla chundo is ready to serve.

Within some days the chunda or murabba is ready. Like the murabba recipe, this is a quick version that is made on the stovetop.
