- Take 1/2 lemon juice
- Prepare To taste Salt
- Prepare 31/2 cups water
- Make ready As needed Roasted kaju pieces and chopped fresh kothmari for Garnish
- Get PREPARATION of SPROUTS MOONG MINI PANCAKES
- Take 1 bowl moong Sprouts
- Make ready 1 cup chopped kothmari
- Get 1 inch ginger piece
- Make ready 2 green chillies
- Make ready as needed Oil for roasting
- Get 1 tbsp each coarse black pepper powder and coriander seeds
- Make ready to taste Salt
- Get as needed Green coconut Coriander Chutney to serve
- Make ready preparation of kothmari flavoured roasted rice puff chiwda
- Prepare 1/4 kg rice puff for Chiwda
- Get 4 - tbsp oil
- Get 1/4 tsp turmeric powder & Hing
- Take 2 tbsp Roasted Peanut & Gram each
- Make ready to taste Salt and sugar powder
- Take 4 tbsp dried Kothmari powder
- Get for preparation of fruity toasts
- Take 4 - Veg Multi grain bread slices
- Make ready 4 tbsps peanut butter
- Get as needed Banana & Kiwi slices
- Prepare as needed Few pieces of walnut & Raisins
- Get PREPARATION of MUSKMELON +MANGO JUICE
- Prepare 2 cups Muskmelon pieces
- Prepare 1 - big Kesar Mango pieces
- Prepare as needed Icecubes
- Get For PEACH ICE TEA
- Prepare 2 sachets PEACH Flavour Ice Tea
- Prepare as needed Water & Ice cubes
Sprouted moong/hesarukalu is very healthy , surely decide to use monthly once or twice,in this we can make varieties of dishes like kosambari/salad,dosa,etc., here i have tried upma by adding sprouted moong, it came out very tasty,usually upma is done plain,adding only onion or adding all types of veggies these all were bore for me… Khichu fans claim it to be the tastiest snack in the world! Indeed, piping hot khichu, with its doughy consistency and soothing taste, is sure to warm your soul and remind you of home. While khichu is usually made with grain-based flours like rice flour or jowar flour, here we present an interesting variant made with moong dal. Add Heeng and little water to wet dal, put them in a mixer to make a fine paste.
Steps to make Khichu, makai upma, sprouts moong pancakes, chiwda, ruity toast:
- Preparation of rice khichu
- In a big vessel..add water, Cummin seeds and Soda bi carb..keep to boil for 10mins on Medium flame.
- In a mixing thali.. combine rice flour, salt, green chillies ginger paste and Hing.. Mix well.Pour prepared hot cummin seeds water on it.Mix well with spatula to make soft mixture.Cool for 5mins.
- Wet your palm with water…take a small ball size portion from dough..tool and press with palm.. making hole with first finger in centre..as shown in place on grease thali.
- Steam these prepared rice Khichu for 20/25mins in steam cooker.
- Serve hot with Oil and Red chilli powder.
- Preparation of makai upma
- Dry roast Makai Rawa in microwave for 2 mins..(quick mode) or in Non stick pan.
- Keep water for boiling…In Non stick pan..add oil..heat till hot..add urad dal,rai-jeera,kadi patta,saute for few minutes and then turmeric powder,hing..mix add roasted Makai Rawa.. mix well.Saute till it turns pink in colour.
- Add boiling water on it..add salt to taste..Cook till the water is absorbed..and mixture leaves the side of vessel.
- Add lemon juice. Garnish with few kaju pieces and chopped fresh kothmari.Serve hot.
- PREPARATION of SPROUTS MOONG MINI PANCAKES
- Grind Sprouts moong chopped fresh kothmari green chillies ginger.with 1/8cup of water..in mixer grinder to smooth paste.Remove the prepared batter in bowl.Add salt,coarse black pepper powder and coriander seeds.Mix well.
- Grease the mini pancakes tawa with oil.Spread 1tbsp of sprout moong batter,in each round holes of tawa.. sprinkle few moong Sprouts,pieces of tomato and onion place a kaju piece.. sprinkle oil on it..Roast till golden brown..Flip over cook on other side also to golden brown.
- Serve hot with Coconut Coriander Chutney.
- Preparation of roasted kothmari flavoured rice puff chiwda.
- In a Kadhai,add oil..heat till hot..add turmeric powder &hing.add Roasted Peanut & Gram.Mix well.Add Rice puff of Chiwda..add salt and sugar powder.Mix well.Roast for five minutes.Cool
- After cooling add dried Kothmari powder and Mix well.Store in Airtight container and use as required.
- Preparation of fruity toasts
- Toast multi grain bread slices in toaster or airfryer (4mins at 180c)
- Spread peanuts butter on each slice.
- Place Banana & Kiwi slices.. Dryfruit as shown in fig.
- PREPARATION of MUSKMELON MANGO JUICE
- In Mixer Jar Grind Muskmelon pieces and chopped Mango pieces..to smooth juice. Add Icecubes in glass pour prepared juice.Garnish with phudina leaves.
- PREPARATION Of Peach Ice Tea.
- Prepare Icetea as per instruction given on Premix Peach Ice Tea pkt.Serve cool with Ice cubes.

Put the dal paste in a big bowl then put ginger, green chillies, green coriander and salt to it. Sprouted moong pakoras is a quick and easy snack or pakora recipe made with sprouted green moong.
